1. Confident people don't play the comparison game. There will always be someone better looking, richer, smarter, funnier, or whatever. Confident people don't compare themselves to other people as much as insecure people do. Get confident in your own skin by accepting who you're and appreciating yourself as a one-of-a-kind creation. 2. Confident people don't pay much attention to things they can't control. Letting go of things you have no control over gives an immediate sense of relief. Confident people focus on the things they can actually influence. This results in a feeling of control. And a sense of control makes you feel more confident. 3. Confident people don't hide out in their comfort zone. Practice leaving your comfort zone for short periods of time. Try new things. Stretch yourself. Travel somewhere you don't know the language and when you return home everything seems so easy. Stretching yourself in different ways on a recurring basis will enhance your feeling of security. That's because temporarily feeling out of your element will gradually expand the range of situations where you feel confident and in control.
